Ready to game from dusk ‘til dawn?  Lexus thinks so.

Lexus has forged its first partnership with Xbox 360 and it’s a doozy.  On Saturday, December 18, Lexus will sponsor an all-night gaming marathon for “Halo: Reach.”  So, if you live with a gamer, you might want to buy some earplugs—it’s going to get hectic.

Fearless gamers (with handy bottles of 5-Hour Energy) will be able to win prizes by playing “Halo: Reach” against other players across the country all night long, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  Every hour, eight players will each win 4,000 Microsoft Points, which can be used to purchase games, add-ons, movies, music, etc.

Gamers will also have the opportunity to download Lexus content for the sporty five-door CT 200h.  A 42-mpg luxury hybrid that enters the U.S. market in March with a fairly low sticker price of $29,000.

“We’re looking to stimulate conversation with a new customer for Lexus, for whom gaming is highly engaging and very social,” said Dave Nordstrom, Lexus vice president of marketing.
